Event Description
The University of Kentucky will conduct two lambing schools in 2026, on January 20 and January 24, 2026.
These schools are designed for new and prospective sheep producers, but seasoned shepherds are welcome to attend to hone their shepherding skills. Subject matter covered will be the same each day. Each date will be limited to 25 pre-registered students.
January 20 is a Tuesday. January 24 is a Saturday.
If your schedule allows you to attend either day, please register for Tuesday (as long as spaces are available) so those who have a conflict during the week can attend on Saturday.
You will receive an email message of your registration confirmation.
Each school will be held at the
C. Oran Little Research Center Sheep Unit
1171 Midway Road, Versailles, KY 40383.
Class will begin at 10:00 a.m. (EST) and will be completed at 3:00 p.m. each day.
There is no registration fee. Register through form below.
Registration deadline January 16th!
